Home of Kristoffer
When I was 5 years old my parents took me to the rink and put me in both skating and hockey school. But after the first year I quit the hockey and continued skating, although I kept my hockey skates on for a few years more before I got my first figure skates. I guess what kept me skating were the big group of guys just playing around at the time, the first years I think was like 5% training and 95% fun and games. Slowly Andrea started to teach me “real skating”. First 5 minutes, then 10, and before I knew it I was skating entire sessions. Not many boys skate in Sweden, but I was lucky to have a few with me, which I think was crucial for me.
As the years passed I skated more and more and it went better and better. I did both ice dance and synchro for a few years which was fun, but not my main interest.
At 17 I did my first Europeans and junior Worlds, the year after my first senior Worlds. It’s been many competitions and championships with both ups and downs, but I always do my best and I will continue fighting for many years to come.
